1. General Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions of use of the website and services provided by the European Energy Centre. Continued membership is dependent upon your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

The documentation, texts, images and other materials that are used on this website operated by the European Energy Centre, are subject to copyright of European Energy Centre Ltd, and cannot be used, copied, reproduced (in part or in full), either electronically or as printed material, without written, prior permission of the European Energy Centre.

All information in this website is correct at time of publication. European Energy Centre Ltd (EEC) reserves the right to amend the details and content at any time, without notice.

Whilst every attempt has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information in these pages, the European Energy Centre ltd wishes to highlight that the contents contained within this website are frequently reviewed and are naturally subject to change from time to time.

It is the responsibility of the user/reader to verify the accuracy of relevant facts before entering any obligations based upon them. 2. Membership Applications

Membership applications will be considered by the Membership Committee who reserve the right to refuse applications for membership. By registering with us, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age. The contact and personal details that you provide during registration or at any time are important, as this is the way you will subsequently be addressed during all correspondence with us. You will ensure that these details are correct and complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering your details.

Electronic submissions of the application form by email will be regarded as having been signed by the applicant. Applications will only be considered once relevant supporting documentation has been received as described on this website.

We reserve the right to change the membership grade of a member/applicant to a level we consider appropriate, if supporting evidence pertaining to the membership grade applied for has not been received, or is inaccurate in any way. We will inform members of any decision relating to re-grading and ask if they wish to continue with membership application.

Information supplied to us by applicants/members must be true and accurate at the time of application. If you experience any change of circumstance (eg change in contact details, moving job) you must inform the Membership Committee by phone, email or in writing so that we can update your records.

We reserve the right to change membership benefits without notice. We reserve the right to change the conditions of Membership at any time at our discretion and without notice.


3. Terminating Membership

You must notify us in writing in order to cancel your membership, including your reasoning for termination of membership. This will be recorded for internal use only.

We reserve the right to withdraw Membership at any time if the Member puts the Programme into disrepute. We reserve the right to withdraw Membership at any time if the member is considered to have misused the membership benefits. In any other circumstances where we regard it inappropriate for you to continue membership, we reserve the right to terminate your membership. We will always inform you of the reasons for the cancellation of your membership and give you the opportunity to discuss this with us before a final decision is made.


4. Variation of Terms & Conditions

On occasion, we may revise these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to stay informed of all changes and continued membership will be regarded as an acceptance of any changes to the terms and conditions.
